Avoid all Target's shots as being touched by these will, lower your Power Level. Some shots will chase you so stay very alert. If you are at the lowest Power Level when hit you will lose a life.
Power Level is shown by the colour of the Player, and increases from WHITE to PINK to ORANGE! Power Level is increased by picking up Power-Ups. One Power-Up is awarded every time a wave of Targets is cleared. Power-Ups look like this;
When the Bonus Gage is full a bonus Power-Up will appear. To increase the Bonus Gage pick up these;
Some times if left too long these will spawn a new Target! Get them quickly. Just before they spawn they will flash like this;
Things you may also want to know:
- Moving past the edges of the screen will cause the Player to 'wrap around' to the opposite edge.
- A red dot on the Player shows the direction to the Current Target. A Cross Hair appears on the Current Target.
- The Forward Gun is a bit tricky to use as it fires in the direction you are facing at the speed you are moving, If you are stopped, firing it is not so usefull. The facing direction is shown as a white line on the Player.
- the Wind will push the Player around slightly, and can be seen by the movement of the smoke, fire, and other particles. The Wind strength increases with each progressive level!
